The Footprint Farm, along the Tualatin River serves as a plant propagation center, office, shop, and restoration site for Mosaic Ecology. The site is already home to dozens of species of native plants, and the numbers are growing. In the coming years we will be expanding our farming capacity to provide a variety of plant material for habitat enhancement projects we work on. We already grow an array of native forbs, graminoids, and woody plants. We harvest seed from wild native plant populations in the Tualatin basin, and grow them out in specially built raised beds. We harvest and process tens of thousands of live stakes at our farm for use in restoration projects throughout the region.
As we expand our nursery program, we look forward to providing a diversity of species available to clients for habitat restoration projects. We will post a list of species available for purchase. Questions regarding availability or future purchase can be directed to footprintfarms@mosaicecology.com.
